The Physics Meeting is an event organized biannually since 1989 by the Department of Physics of the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (National Polytechnic School).

On this occasion, the XVIII Physics Meeting will be held between October 16 and 20, 2023 in person after four years of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The activity is aimed at researchers, teachers, students and professionals working in the different branches of physics.

The event will feature guest keynote speakers. On the other hand, we cordially call on researchers from Ecuador and the region to submit their papers that will be presented as oral contributions of 15 minutes or in a poster session. The week before the event will also be held free workshops.

At the end of the conference, the reports will be published in the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series, which is indexed by SCOPUS. It should be noted that participation in the conference does not guarantee or oblige the publication of their work in the memoir.
